Context
eSignus was not a new company.
It had history, technical expertise and a solid reputation delivering smart card security solutions for the banking sector.
What its visual identity and narrative no longer reflected was the shift that was about to take place: moving from institutional financial environments into the emerging crypto ecosystem.
The challenge was not to create a new brand. It was to redefine an existing one without losing the credibility it had already earned.
The Challenge
When eSignus launched HASHWallet as a consumer-facing product, a new tension emerged:
How can a corporate B2B brand coexist with a consumer product that has its own identity?
eSignus could not disappear behind the product. But neither could it compete with it, visually or strategically.
It needed to provide structure for the entire ecosystem.
That balance does not happen by accident.
It requires clearly defining what each brand represents, how they relate to one another and the role each plays within the broader system.

Defining the System
Elastic worked on defining the relationships between the different brands within the ecosystem:
- eSignus, as the technology and security company serving B2B clients, investors and strategic partners.
- HASHWallet, as the consumer-facing solution with its own identity and audience.
- HOLA (HASHWallet Operation Language), as the infrastructure layer supporting the wider ecosystem.
The goal was not to position eSignus as the manufacturer behind HASHWallet.
It was to establish it as the company orchestrating the entire system.
This phase helped us:
- Define the principles governing the relationship between brand, product and technology.
- Create a consistent visual and verbal language across the ecosystem.
- Ensure coherence between the different layers: company, product and technical solution.

Communicating with Clarity
Within the crypto industry, a corporate brand speaks to a demanding audience: investors, technology partners and enterprise clients who need to understand immediately who they are dealing with and why it matters.
Elastic designed the materials necessary for eSignus to present itself with clarity, confidence and credibility in those contexts.
The objective was not aesthetic.
It was to ensure that every touchpoint generated trust before any conversation even began.
This phase helped us:
- Structure communication for high-level audiences such as investors and strategic partners.
- Equip the team with clear and reusable communication tools.
- Articulate a coherent narrative capable of explaining complex solutions.
